The Dev Team has updated the Redsn0w 0.9.8b7 to jailbreak iOS 4.3.5 and iOS 5. A few minutes ago, musclenerd announced through a tweet that a new version of Redsn0w, tools developed by the Dev Team that allows you to jailbreak iPhone OS tethered devices, that in this new version improves compatibility with iOS beta 6 and 5, and iOS 4.3.5 and for iOS 4.2.10.
The Dev Team announces that Apple has modified the file IPSW firmware 5.0 beta 6 for iPad 1 without changing the version number or the name of the file.
For this reason, the team of hackers have decided to release Redsn0w 0.9.8b7 to support both versions of the firmware, both old and new.
Analyzed by the code-savvy bunch known as the iPhone Dev-Team, the iOS 5 Beta 6 IPSWs for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad are jailbreakable.
However, the iPad version was seemingly updated by Apple without any changes to the version number or the file name, as the Dev-Team explains on their blog.
Also in this version was also included specific support for both iOS 4.3.5 and 4.2.10 (CDMA only for iPhone). Now, in fact, do not have to use firmware 4.3.4 or 4.2.9 Redsn0w but you can directly select the firmware you want to unlock without any problems.
