Facebook is the popularly known social networking site that has more than 750 million active users. Recently a new service is introduced by Facebook known as “Timeline”.Basically Timeline provides a better and new way to represent Facebook profile in front of whole world in other words Timeline gives an easy way to the users to rediscover the things they shared and also collects the most important moments of the users.

With the help of this service around 800 million users of Facebook can turn their profile pages into a effective scrapbook that contains big photos, life events and memorable posts. Timeline also acts as the helpful reminder which provides the posts that had been posted on Facebook over the years.

This feature has followed Facebook’s slow rollout mantra for product launches. If the users don’t want to share any post to others they can simply click the pencil to hide, delete or edit that post and the users can also use the privacy dropdown to adjust who can see any of their post or simply select “only me” if they want that post to keep it with their own. The other option also provided by Timeline named as “Activity log” by which the users can see two dropdown menus next to each story. Users can adjust the privacy of post through first dropdown menu and can decide if they want their post to appear on Timeline through second dropdown menu.

The most important and exciting thing about this service is that its privacy settings is same as previous Facebook privacy settings but the difference is that the post you shared earlier with your friends are now shared with the much larger group of people newly added in you Facebook.

How to get Timeline on your Facebook Profile

Firstly go to the Facebook’s official Timeline page and then click the “Get it now” button that appears on the bottom of the page.
