Step 1: Download Rooting package from here to your computer.

Step 2: Enable USB Debugging mode on your device, You can do this

Settings> Applications> Development

Step 3: Then connect the phone using USB data cable and copy the downloaded file to your phone SD card.

Step 4: Then disconnect the phone from computer, turn off the phone and enter into recovery mode.

Step 5: The recovery mode can be entered by pressing “T” and simultaneously Power ON the device so as to enter into recovery mode.

Step 6: In recovery mode, navigate to option “apply update from sd card” and press the Home button to select the same.

Step 7: Then you will need to navigate to the file named as “SamsungGALAXYProRootingPACKAGE” which is placed in your phone and press the Home key again so as to select the same.

Step 8: Select Go Back and in recovery mode, select “ Wipe data/factory reset” and “Wipe Cache partition” and reboot your system by selecting “reboot system now”option.

Step 9: Once the device is rooted successfully, you will see the icons like SuperUser and CWM in your phone.

Step 1: Download UnRooting package from here to your computer.

Step 2: Enable USB Debugging mode on your device, You can do this

Settings> Applications> Development

Step 3: Then connect the phone using USB data cable and copy the downloaded file to your phone SD card.

Step 4: Then disconnect the phone from computer, turn off the phone and enter into recovery mode.

Step 8: It will take 5 minutes to apply this update, once the device is unrooted then you will have to select Go Back and get back to recovery mode screen.

Step 9: In recovery mode, select “ Wipe data/factory reset” and “Wipe Cache partition” and reboot your device by selecting the option “reboot system now”.
