How To Install Android 4.0.3 ICS AOKP Build Firmware On HTC Droid Incredible:
Step 1: Enable USB Debugging mode on your device, You can do this
Settings> Applications> Development
Step 2: Download Android 4.0.3 ICS AOKP Build from here along with Google Apps Package from here to your computer.
Step 3: Then connect the device using USB data cable and copy the ICS zip file along with Google Apps to your phone SD card.
Step 4: Disconnect the phone from computer, turn off the phone and enter into recovery mode.
Step 5: The boot loader mode can be entered by pressing Volume Up + OK Button and holding both simultaneously press the Power button.
Step 6: After entering into boot loader mode, select the option “Recovery” to enter the device in the recovery mode.
Step 7: In recovery mode, Navigate to “Install zip from sd card” and then select “ Choose Zip from sd card” to select the ICS zip file which you have placed in your phone followed by which you need to select the Zip file of Google Apps which you also have placed.
Step 8: As soon as firmware is updated, the phone will either restart or land up in recovery mode. In recovery mode screen, select Go Back and select the option “reboot system now” for rebooting the device.
Note: Check your firmware version by going to Settings> About Phone> Firmware version and you will find the version of Android 4.0.3 ICS firmware. If not applied, repeat the process again.
