How To Install Cyanogen Mod 7.2 Android 2.3.7 Firmware On Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro
Before proceeding the steps, you need to first Unlock the Boot loader and Root your phone. After this follow this steps which are mentioned below:
Step 1: Enable USB Debugging mode on your device, You can do this
Settings> Applications> Development
Step 2: Download Cyanogen Mod Zip package from here into your computer and with the help of 7 Zip you need to unzip the same to get the boot image file, Google Apps from here and also the Cyanogen Mod 7.2 update file.
Step 3: Then connect the device using USB data cable and copy the boot.img file to the folder of “Fast Boot” (/tools folder in the Android SDK folder) and then place the update.zip file of Cyanogen Mod 7.2 along with Google Apps into the device SD card.
Step 4: After this, disconnect the device from computer and turn off the phone.
Step 5: After turning phone off, press and hold the Search button while connecting the device to the computer.
Step 6: In your computer, open the command prompt to enter the command line which is mentioned below:
fastboot -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img
fastboot -i 0xfce reboot
Step 7: While the device is rebooting, you need to use the Volume buttons to boot into ClockworkMod recovery. Once you boot into ClockworkMod Recovery, with the help of the Volume keys press the Power button to select.
Step 8: You can also backup the current installed firmware so that in case if you wish to restore back to your stock ROM, you can do by ClockworkMod Recovery.
Step 9: After this, select “ Wipe data/factory reset” and “Wipe Cache partition”.
Step 10: Navigate to “Install zip from sd card” and then select “ Choose Zip from sd card” after you need to select the option of “Cyanogen Mod update.zip” and also the Google Apps Zip file.
Step 11: Once the installation is done, you need to select option of Go Back to get back into main menu and select “Reboot System Now” to reboot your device successfully.
