Basically Kinect is a motion sensing input device that allows the users to control and interact with the Xbox 360 without the need to touch a game controller through a natural user interface. Storage space available in Kinect system software is at least 190MB. This software also supports two technologies i.e. voice recognition and facial recognition.
First Kinect SDK consists of APIs, sample code and drivers and developers can create rich experiences by using Kinect sensor technology on PCs operating on Windows 7 and Windows 8 Developer Preview. The SDK provides Kinect capabilities to the developers building applications with C++, C# or Visual basic.

Kinesis is the project that allows controlling presentations using Microsoft Kinect. This project provides intervention in current slide/page by focusing or highlighting the important elements from presentation. This project also allows the users to manage reports and also perform various other chats using Kinect.
