Here we have two of the best smartphones of Samsung that have created a tremendous buzz among the Android phone users even before they were released in the market. On the one side we have the latest sensation of Android world Samsung Galaxy Nexus which has the latest operating system of the android world, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich installed and on the other hand we have the tab cum smartphone Samsung Galaxy Nexus which though has the older version of Android operating system, the Android 2.3 Gingerbread but with such a huge display of 5.3 inches it can definitely give any smartphone runs for its money.
Here we are going to compare these two fabulous devices so that you can be able to decide which smartphone to chose out of them.
Galaxy Nexus comes with a 1.2 GHZ dual core Cortex A9 processor, PowerVR SGX540 Gpu and TI OMAP 4460 chipset while the Galaxy Note comes with 1.4 GHZ dual core ARM Cortex A9 processor, Mali400 MP GPU and Exynos chipset. If you look at the processor of both the phones both are having the same dual core processor but the main difference is Galaxy Note is termed a little higher than the Galaxy Nexus so the winner of this segment is Galaxy Note.
Operating SystemGalaxy Nexus has the latest operating system of the Android world the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich which has been the latest sensation of the android world but if you look at Galaxy Note it has an operating system of Android 2.3 Gingerbread which is expected to get updated in the near future with the Android 4.0 ICS. So with being the first phone to have the ICS installed in it Galaxy Nexus is the selected inner of this group.
If you look out for the camera of both the device Galaxy Nexus seems to have lost in this segment also with having a 5 mega pixel camera on the rear side with 2592×1936 pixels and 1.3 mega pixel camera in the front while Galaxy Note is having an 8 mega pixel on the rear side with 3264×2448 pixels and 2 mega pixel camera in the front. So the obvious winner of this segment is Galaxy note.
As per the memory of both the phones are concerned they both have the same internal memory of 16/32 GB with 1 GB of RAM. So both the smartphones stand a equal chance in this department, so no winner for this segment guys.
Galaxy Nexus has a 4.65 inches of Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display wit the screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels while the Galaxy Note has a little bigger display much of a tablet resemblance, with 5.3 inches of Super Amoled Capacitve Touchscreen having the screen resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels which makes the Galaxy Note a clear winner in this segment also.
If we look for the battery life of both the phones it seems that the battery life of Galaxy Note is far better than its counterpart Galaxy Nexus. Galaxy Note having a battery life upto 2500 mAh, standby time upto 960 hours (2G)/820 hours (3G) and talk time upto 26 hours (2G)/13 hours (3G) while Galaxy Nexus has the battery life up to 1850 mAh, stand-by time up to 290 h (2G) / Up to 270 h (3G) and talk time up to 17 h 40 min (2G) / Up to 8 h 20 min (3G). While seeing the details of the battery it is clearly obvious that Galaxy Note has taken over the its counterpart in this segment also.

So as per the above information that I have got I consider Samsung Galaxy Note a clear winner.
