Applying this firmware then it doesn’t meant that phone is rooted.
If you have rooted your device, this update will revoke root access.

- Make sure Your Android device is atleast 50% charged so that it can’t get switched off.
- Make sure that data cable is properly connected.
- Disable Anti virus and other apps.
How To Update Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus P6200 With Official Android 3.2 Honeycomb DDKL2 Firmware:
Step 1: Enable USB Debugging mode on your device, You can do this
Settings> Applications> Development
Step 2: First step, Download DDKL2 Android 3.2 Honeycomb firmware from here in your computer and extract the same along with Odin Tool.
Step 3: Once you have downloaded the file, Open ODIN tool in your computer and turn off the device and enter into download mode.
Step 4: The download mode can be entered by pressing Volume down button and power ON the device.
Step 5: Connect the device via USB data cable while keeping the ODIN opened. When you connect the device, the ODIN program will automatically detect it and you will see yellow ID:COM box in ODIN which mean that all the drivers are loaded successfully.
Step 7: In Odin, select the PDA option and then select the file mentioned below.
PDA: P6200DDKL2_P6200ODDKL1_P6200DDK5_HOME.tar.md5.
Step 8: Click on Start button and process will begin. Once the update is installed successfully, the device will rebooted and then you will prompted to enter the Google account credentials and also other network releated settings.
Step 9: Then turn off the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus P6200 and enter into recovery mode.
Step 10: The Recovery mode can be entered by pressing Volume Up button and power ON the device.
Step 11: After this, reboot by selecting reboot system now option.
Step 12: Just to ensure that firmware is updated successfully, Check your firmware version by going to Settings> About Phone> Firmware version and you will find the version of DDKL2 Honeycomb 3.2 firmware. If not applied, repeat the process again.
Note: Restore all the data which you have taken the backup before and also ensure that you have also restored the apn settings which are responsible for accessing the internet.
