How To Update Samsung Galaxy Pop S5570I With Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread DDLA1 Firmware
Step 1: Enable USB Debugging mode on your device, You can do this
Settings> Applications> Development
Step 2: Download Android 2.3.6 DDLA1 Gingerbread Firmware from here to your computer. Once you have downloaded, extract the same.
Step 3: Open ODIN file in your computer and turn off the device and enter into download mode.
Step 4: The download mode can be entered by pressing Volume down key, Centre button and simultaneously press the Power button.
Step 5: Connect the device via USB data cable while keeping the ODIN opened. When you connect the device, the ODIN program will automatically detect it and you will see yellow ID:COM box in ODIN which mean that all the drivers are loaded successfully.
Note: If ODIN doesn’t turn yellow, the you should not proceed to the next step. Then you need to Install the Samsung USB drivers, and the .Net Framework (its free) and also update KIES with the latest version.
Step 6: In Odin,
Click On OPS button and select the file as “TASS_v1.0.ops”
Tick Mark On “One Package”
Click On One Package Tab and select the file as “S5570IDDLA1_S5570IDDLA1_S5570IDDLA1_HOME.tar.md5”.
Step 7: Click on Start button and process will begin. Once the update is installed successfully, the device will restart.
Step 8: Then turn off the Samsung Galaxy Pop device and enter into recovery mode.
Step 9: The Recovery mode can be entered by pressing Volume Up key+ Centre button and simultaneously press the Power button.
Step 10: In Recovery mode, select “ Wipe data/factory reset” and “Wipe Cache partition”.
Step 11: After this, reboot by selecting reboot system now option.
