One of the most amazing service that we have been experiencing now in the latest series of Apple iPhone is the Siri. You ask anything to do from it and its ready to serve you with all its dedications, you can send text and ask it get your appointments fixed, its ready to do so. But earlier it wasn’t useful when it comes to updating your status in social networks via Siri. So, the Cydia developers have came up with a mindblowing solution of this problem with a tweak that can help us to tweet using Siri. Since this is a jailbreak tweak available in Cydia, you’ll need to do an untethered jailbreak for your device. You can use GreenPois0n Absinthe to jailbreak iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0.1 or iOS 5.
Tyler_nettleton aka InfectionFX is a 17 yr old hacker and an iOS coder who has made the dream come true to us, that we can now actually tweet with the help of Siri. So now we can bypass the Siri’s natural ability to deny us from tweeting and we can just speak out the words and Siri will tweet it on your twitter account as long as you have configured Twitter through settings. But a there are some limitations in this tweak though which are to be worked out and the developer is working on it. Some of the problems are
- Tweet being sent won’t have a capitalized first letter.
- You won’t be able to preview your tweek and some more like that.
But not worry guys as the Cydia developers have always given us a lot to enjoy through their tweaks they would surely come up with a solution for it quickly. If sources are to be believed some talks are also going around that he will be adding a Facebook support also. If that happens we not only can send tweets using Siri, we could also be able to update our Facebook status just by saying to Siri.
As per the developers point of view this tweak is called as Sireet and it will be absolutely free of cost. This tweak is not yet released in Cydia , but it will be available soon. You can look at the video displayed below to know more about this tweak. We will definitely let you know when this tweak hits the Cydia market but till then just wait for our updates.
